Adaptive filters convert between Fast mode and Exact mode. Fast mode is suitable for applications where the microphone position often changes, for example in conferencing systems with multiple microphones switched. Precise mode is suitable for applications where the microphone position is fixed, for example, a stable acoustic environment.
Adaptive filters can converge at a slower rate, effectively suppressing more of the reflected components. Up to 12dB of gain can be additionally gained before acoustic feedback occurs, depending on the acoustic environment and the chosen operating mode.

The feedback suppressor also has a built-in automatic mixer for both mic inputs. In many cases, such as using two microphones at the podium, pulpit, or conference table, you can better capture the sound of the moving speaker, often adding to the risk of acoustic feedback. In view of this problem, the automatic mixer in the feedback suppressor will automatically reduce the gain of the microphone with the weaker signal input while increasing the gain of the other microphone with stronger signal input. In this way, it tracks the moving speaker and produces the best sound clarity.

At the same time, the maximum gain remaining without acoustic feedback is maintained, since the total amount of gain remains constant. The automixer function still works even if the feedback suppressor is disabled.
